large (international) financial service providers? Want to get the most out of your talent under

The Business Consultancy Traineeship

Just to summarize. The (Dutch) traineeship consists of:

A masterclass (weeks 1 to 6)

Workshops and training courses prepare you to get started in practice. Think of theoretical

training in the field of digitalization, SCRUM, data, and the financial sector. You will also develop

your consultancy skills and work on challenging cases in a team. During this period you pass a

number of important exams.

An internship (week 7 to 13)

Over the next 6 weeks, you will work with talented colleagues on an internship assignment at

the intersection of business and technology for an appealing bank or insurer.

The Young Professional Program (six months)

During your first assignment, you will follow a Young Professional Program, which is over a period of 6 months. You will participate in approximately one training every month. This is included in the whole traineeship. 

Congratulations! 

You promote from Trainee to Associate Business Consultant. During the Young Professional Program, you will work on a challenging issue at one of our clients, where you will immediately be given a lot of responsibility. In addition, you continue to develop through various training courses and the guidance of your Career Counselor.

The assignments of former trainees

Curious about what kind of assignments you can do as a trainee at ITDS? Former trainees

Hannah and Max talk about their first client assignment.

Hannah: “My first assignment was with an interest group for homeowners. They want to make

their various services more customer-oriented by means of a major innovation project and they

are also working on the implementation of a new CRM system. One of our experienced

colleagues Teus is Project Manager on this project. My role was to support Teus in his tasks

and to supervise a number of working groups. An incredibly fun and varied role.”

Max: “I started at a legal aid insurer as a Business Analyst. At this insurer, they are working on

the implementation of a new policy administration system, for which 24 products have to be set

up. I set up these products with a team of ITDS employees. As a Business Analyst, I am on the

one hand busy with requesting the specifications and on the other hand setting up the functional

aspects of the system. The really technical aspects are done by the people of Salesforce

themselves.”

• A WO diploma;
• 0 – 2 years work experience;
• Affinity with IT and the financial sector;
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills;
• A good dose of ambition and eagerness to learn.
