Are you curious about how PwC works together in the world of pensions and insurances? Besides, are you interested in complex problems and challenging issues in the area of actuarial services, quantitative consulting and data analysis? This is what you will do

You will be a full-fledged team member of our multidisciplinary Pensions, Actuarial & Insurance Services (PAIS) practice in Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Utrecht. You will be working on engagements for insurers, pension funds/providers, government agencies and national and international enterprises. The team's success depends in part on your strategic insight, your communication skills and your boldness in coming up with fresh ideas.

Your duties, which are extremely diverse, depend on your analytical skills. Examples of assignments on which you may collaborate include:

  • Designing and modelling financial and actuarial models;

  • Analysing HR- or big data of insurers;

  • Carrying out pension calculations;

  • Risk management at pension funds and insurers;

  • Advising insurers on new technologies and developments;

  • Supporting merger and acquisition projects;

  • Quantitative consulting for pricing or cyber risk using R, Python or another programming language.

Who are you?

You are a talented and ambitious applicant who takes responsibility for his/her own opportunities and development. Also you want to develop further, both professionally and in your social skills, and are already working on insights and relationships that will help you throughout your career. Besides that you believe in acting ethically, both internally and externally, and take responsibility for your own actions in that regard. You also enjoy working in a team, in which different ideas and perspectives are included in the work. Finally you are curious about developments within your own discipline and driven to make a difference with your team. furthermore you are bursting with energy and:

  • You have a University Master study background in Econometrics, Actuarial Science or Mathematics;

  • You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;

  • You are available for six months, two or three days per week.
